Charity Rummage Sale Car Show |

Greetings all, I have mentioned to all of you a car show in Puyallup that I am trying to put together for August 23 rd. This is associated with a rummage/garage sale that is put on by Doug Davies Home Team Northwest. They do this sale every year with all the proceeds going to benefit Children’s Therapy Unit at Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup. In an effort to make this more of a community event and draw they have been adding things to the sale every year to make it more of a happening. Last year they added live music which looks like it will continue this year. There is also food, dunking booth, face painting…….oh yeah, THE JUNK! It is still a rummage sale…..Last year, Jack Berg and I discovered one could fit a full park bench in an MGA (along with a few LPs) There are good bargains to be had!! Last year also was the start of trying to work up a car show. Last year we had Beastie (my car), Snorty, and my best friends ’70 chev pickup….hey it was a start. This year they would like to have more cars to help draw more people. So here is the request, would any of you be able to come down that day from approximately 11-2 to show your pride and joys? This is a freebee, they are just glad to have us. There will also be a trophy awarded to the best car, and the trophy I have been assured will be in keeping with the rummage sale theme, should be fun. Also, please tell your friends……and have them bring their MG….or other classic car, I’d even be happy to see some Detroit steel there too, the more the merrier.
